Aidan McDougall, also known as Nadia Noble,
is a designer from Wellington, Aotearoa.
Aspiring to create bridges between physical and virtual space, Aidan majored in Integrated Design, choosing to study both Concept and Spatial design subjects.
Aidan brings worlds to life by combining illustration, film, music, and games, crossing the boundaries between artistic disciplines.
VORTQX™
VORTQX™ is a first-of-its-kind dynamic video game control platform for virtual experiences. Inputs are triggered when weight is applied in any direction, testing players' skills and balance. In-game events can trigger the platform to rise and tilt in any direction, creating an immersive and exciting experience that brings the virtual world to life. We envision VORTQX™ enhancing a wide range of PC and VR titles across both homes and arcades.
CANVERSE
CANVERSE is a science fiction short film
that was displayed across three screens at
Massey University's Exposure Exhibition in 2024.
The display surrounds the viewer and takes them on
a journey through nested realities while listening to
characters explore topics such as simulation,
escapism, AI, and recursion.
